What is important about defining a clear span is understanding the cost savings on the Frame when center columns can be used. For example, Perka offer a 50’ to 120’ wide building using our 10,000 model. Below is an example of what customers save, vs. using 8,000 model, in frame cost using center columns, a 20 live load and 90 mph wind load with a height of 14':

On 50’ wide:	Low savings (5%)

On 60’ wide:	Low savings (15%)

On 70’ wide:	1 row of centre columns saves 24%

On 80’ wide:	1 row of centre columns saves 30%

On 100’ wide:	1 row of centre columns saves 21%

On 120’ wide:	1 row of centre columns saves 16% 2 rows of inside columns saves 35%
